All six episodes of Saban are available on the ESPN App in the US from Thursday, October 8 at 6pm ET, according to ESPN’s official release schedule. The linear ESPN channel is showing the episodes separately: the next scheduled instalment is episode 2, “Death Valley”, on Thursday, October 15 at 6pm ET. You do not have to wait for that TV date to choose the on-demand route, provided your subscription includes access.
The new six-part documentary follows Nick Saban’s coaching career. Its launch creates two different viewing choices: watching the whole series through the app, or following ESPN’s television run through November 5. A search for the premiere date alone can hide that distinction. This guide uses the programme’s official schedule, rather than treating a streaming release and a channel listing as interchangeable.

Choose the viewing route before setting reminders
ESPN announced the October 8 launch in August and repeated the dates in its October 6 viewing guide. Its publisher description places Saban’s career, including Alabama and LSU, at the centre of the series. Those details establish the subject and timing; they are not a review claiming that we have watched every episode or measured the programme’s quality.
For on-demand viewing, search for Saban in the official ESPN App and check the access shown for your account. An app download is not proof that this particular programme is free. Existing pay-TV credentials and direct subscriptions can provide different entitlements, so confirm programme access before buying another package. For the television route, use the dated episode guide below and your provider’s ESPN listing.
The television run is not a weekly Thursday schedule
Episodes 1 and 2 are scheduled on October 8 and 15 at 6pm ET. Episode 3 moves to Tuesday, October 20 at 7pm ET; episode 4 follows on Tuesday, October 27 at 7pm ET. Episode 5 is Thursday, October 29 at 6pm ET, and episode 6 is Thursday, November 5 at 6pm ET. A recurring Thursday-only reminder would miss the two Tuesday instalments.
For US viewers, a 6pm Eastern start is 5pm Central and 3pm Pacific; a 7pm Eastern start is 6pm Central and 4pm Pacific. These are local clock conversions for the listed dates. US daylight saving time ends before the November 5 finale, but the relative difference among these three US zones remains the same. Keep the episode’s dated local time in the reminder rather than fixing every event to one UTC offset.
UK availability needs its own programme listing
The schedule above is a US schedule. Disney+ has announced a broader international ESPN offering, but its official announcement says content varies by market and does not confirm Saban’s UK release date. Our separate UK search and that regional announcement did not establish a title-specific UK timetable or subscription price. ESPN content being present on a service is not enough to promise that this documentary is available there.
In the US, open the official ESPN programme guide, then use the app or your provider’s channel guide for the route you chose. In the UK, search the title in the regional Disney+ catalogue and check the displayed entitlement before paying for it. The useful follow-up is a programme-specific regional listing or a revised ESPN schedule; future changes should update these dates rather than create another guide to the same launch.
US release and episode dates were reconfirmed from ESPN on9October2026 Korea time. UK programme rights were not established by the regional ESPN announcement.
