Viewers in India can find the October 17 Bangladesh–Zimbabwe ODI on FanCode’s Afghanistan, Bangladesh & Zimbabwe Tri Series 2026 event page. The opener began at 5 pm IST at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi and was in progress when checked. The remaining league matches are on October 19 and 21, followed by the final on October 23; all are scheduled for 5 pm IST.
This is a three-team ODI competition hosted by Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe meet in the opening league game, rather than in a separate two-country series. That distinction explains why Afghanistan appears in the streaming event’s title and why the next fixture involves a different pairing. The event page linked below is the direct route to this October tournament.

Why Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are playing in the UAE
The ICC announced the wider UAE programme on September 8. It began with an Afghanistan–Bangladesh Test scheduled for October 9–13, followed by the ODI tri-series from October 17 to 23. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe then have separate T20I and Test fixtures later in the tour. Those other formats belong to the wider programme, but they are not extra league matches in this ODI competition.
The ODI format here gives each team a match against each of the other two sides. Bangladesh play Zimbabwe on October 17; Afghanistan meet Zimbabwe on October 19 and Bangladesh on October 21. The ICC says the top two teams progress to the October 23 final. The opening result therefore contributes to qualification but cannot, by itself, supply the complete final pairing.
The four-match schedule in Indian time
FanCode lists four fixtures, matching the three league matches and final in the ICC announcement. Its public fixture timestamps convert to 5 pm Indian Standard Time on October 17, 19, 21 and 23. The accompanying schedule uses IST consistently. A device outside India may display a different local clock time on the streaming site, so the timezone label matters when adding the fixture to a calendar.
For the opener, FanCode’s current Match Details identify Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Its tournament page separates Live & Upcoming from Completed matches, making it possible to move from the ongoing match to the rest of the series. The final is still listed with teams to be confirmed. This guide gives the schedule and viewing route, not a prediction of which two teams will qualify.
Open the correct event, then follow the route to the final
To watch, open the FanCode tri-series link, select the Bangladesh–Zimbabwe Match 1 card and use the Live section. The same match page also separates Info, Scorecard, Videos and Squad, so a score or highlight page should not be mistaken for the live stream. NDTV Profit’s October 17 guide says an active subscription is required. No pass price or free viewing entitlement was established in the inspected official pages, and this article does not name an unconfirmed Indian television channel.
The practical choice is to use the event-specific FanCode route for the stream and the four-date IST schedule to follow the competition. Bangladesh–Zimbabwe starts the qualification story; the October 19 and 21 games complete the league stage before two sides meet on October 23. Keeping that sequence in view explains what the opener means without treating an unfinished match as a final result or the first pairing as the entire series.
ICC dates and top-two progression were compared with FanCode’s official event and match pages. All four public startDate timestamps convert from 11:30 UTC to 17:00 IST; the website can display the device’s local time. Venue uses current Match Details. Subscription requirement is attributed to NDTV Profit; no price, free entitlement, TV channel or final result is invented. Streaming playback in India was not tested. Original editorial graphic.
